Ever since Daisy could talk we have always had story time and then talked about our busy day in bed before saying goodnight. This was our busy day conversation tonight:
Mummy: Are you enjoying school, what are your favourite things?
Daisy: PE, playtime and my friends, you know I really love my friends
M: I am really happy that you have lovely friends
D: But mum do you know what I really really really love
M: Chocolate, pizza, dancing
D: Nope, I really really really love my mummy, that's you. I love you more than anyone.
M: But you love Daddy the same
D: Ummm I love Daddy, but you more. I tell Daddy I love him more cos he likes to hear he is the best and it makes him happy if I say it, he loves it
M: Well I think you should love us the same
D: Oh OK your right but I will still tell you I love you more and him I love him more, then everyone is happy
It's funny how a five year old mind works sometimes. The part that I really thought was cute was when she was telling me how much she loved her friends. I think she is going to be like her Daddy and cousin Cala when she grows up a great friends to have that will always be there for you and very loyal.
