Rainy Sunday at home

The weather has been shockingly wet for the past couple of weeks and today was no exception so after the little people had been to church we spent the afternoon baking and face painting before finishing the day with a nice roast dinner.

Wow, it's been a long time and blogspot have gone and changed the layout on me!

Anyway tomorrow is due to be another wet and windy day so along with a spot of ironing my plan is to update the blog... nothing really amazing to report but the little people are growing fast!

Out to lunch

We didn't get to see Nanny Maureen on her birthday so we took her out for lunch today. Samuel and Nanny loveeee ice cream so Samuel wanted to take her to Morroco's our favourite ice cream parlour on the sea front.

After lunch it was a quick dash to Lewes for their cousin's Tilly's birthday party, which was Roalh Doal Revolting cooking party and they had a fab time.

Easter Sunday 2012

The family came for Easter Sunday lunch, in true English style in rained all day so we were confined to the house eating and entertaining ourselves with the talent musicians in the family!

We found ourselves in Cuckfield as Andy had chosen a 5 mile walk which we think ended up being about 6.5miles after not quite reading the directions correctly. It was a cold and damp day but we still had fun exploring the Cuckfield countryside stopping for a picnic and then back to Cala & Andy's for tea and cake whilst watching Matilda.
