The Engagement of AFL & MJI

Today was Cala and Andy's camp fest to celebrate their engagement. The setting was stunning some land attached to farmlane in East Sussex. We set up camp and then spent the afternoon/evening socialising and eating - we were really spoilt for choice of tasty food. Our day and evening in pics below. Unfortunately Daddy still wasnt convinced with camping so was up nice bright and early and as per our last trip took the tent down round a very sleeping Daisy! We helped the Ireland's pack up and as we pulled out of the driveway of the farm the rain fell, we were so lucky with the weather.

How a collection of books sparked a game...

Today I bought Samuel a series of books that are pocket sized guides that tackle the mysteries of everyday things. I was reading out some of the titles and Samuel thought I was asking him questions and gave the following replies:

Why do people eat? S: Cos their hungary


Where do babies come from? S: Eggs


How do birds fly? S: With their wings


Where did dinosaurs go? S: On holiday


Why do Tiger's have strips? S: Because they like to wear them


Why is night dark? S: So you can go to sleep


How do bees make honey? S: With their tongues


Where does electicity come from? S: Plugs


What's inside you? S: Bones

After walking past the fair on the way to school and back the little people finally got the treat they had been wishing for... a visit to the fair. Unfortunately it decided to pour with rain the whole time we were there but the little people did not mind as they had loads of fun going on the rides.
