Day at the beach with the family
Aunty Dawn came down with Mia and Bob today as the weather was so warm we hit the beach and met Aunty Debby with Kelly and Elsie and Tilly. It was a right family affair as Nanny Maureen also joined us for lunch!

Daddy joins us today
This morning I had a hospital appointment so Daddy took the day off and the sun was shining so we decided to hit the beach!
Today I was given the go ahead that I could take my bands off to start eating solid food! So I started off with some small pesto pasta from M&S, after living on a liquid diet for 5 weeks it was the most delicious thing I have ever eaten, even if it did take for ever and I only managed a quarter of it!

Samuel's end of term school disco
Samuel with his girlfriend Ameila
At his school disco with Ed in the back ground
With his reception teacher Mr Dargavel
His friend Casper who sadly left to go to another school
The boys has been talking at school about what they were going to where and whilst his friends were saying Batman / Superman outfit, Cars t-shirt, etc Mr Dargavel had said that Samuel had said he would be wearing a suit. Unfortunately the suit he has is too small for him so had to settle for waist coat and tie.

The Olympic torch comes to Hove...
London is hosting the 2012 Olympics and the torch has been touring the country for the past weeks and today was our turn. Aunty Jo had scored us some tickets for the free concert/torch ceremony at the Sussex Cricket Ground which was super exciting plus it was my first real outing since surgery.
The weather was semi kind in that it didn't rain like it had for the past few months. The little people had a great time, they got to have their pic with a torch and lost of freebies from the sponsors (Coke Cola, Samsung and TSB).

Daisy sports day
Monday, 2 July 2012
Last Wednesday I went in for Jaw surgery. I was in hospital overnight and came home late the following day, I was very badly swollen, had my teeth bounded together and on lots of med's so for the first 5 days I could honestly say I was out of it. It was probably some of the worst days of my life not being able to breath, eat, talk or sleep and also the discomfort of swelling. Thankfully they are now behind me and although I am no where near back to normal I feel I am on the road to recovery.
