Happy Birthday Daddy

Today is bank holiday Monday and Daddy's birthday, our day is photos below:

Up nice and early to open cards and presents

One of them being a new skateboard so it was down the skate park to try it out

Daddy working the half pipe

Then the rest of the family had a go, Sam getting his first lesson

Daisy, as always looking cool (she is actually moving and going along here)

Even Mummy tried it out...

and nearly crashed into Daisy taking photos!
We then packed a picnic, picked Nanny Maureen up from work, went up to Aunty Jo and Uncle Murphy's and then made our way to Ashdown Forest to the home of Winnie the Pooh
Birthday picnic

Start of the 'Pooh' experience

Going in the right direction...

Across fields and Sam trying to make friends with sheep
Climbing and generally getting muddy
Murphy, Sam, Cala and Nan on Pooh bridge playing 'Pooh sticks'
Cala and I relaxing!

Birthday cake time, after a long walk to the bridge we all deserved a piece of cake

Where's Sam?

The little lady in the country! More 'IT' girl I think!

Sam relaxing mid walk as he does!

Who popped?
After along walk there and back to the bridge we stopped off at the pub in Hartfield for a quick refreshment before heading home.

Sunday 24th August
Even though we had great plans for today, swimming and Benjamin's 1st birthday party, unfortunately things did not go to plan as Sam was a little poorly and the rest of us overtried from the week. So we hung out at home and had a lovely roast dinner and an early night.
The little fella asleep with his Daddy mid morning!
