Drusilla's and a wedding!

This morning started off with me hitting the Next sale at 6am (well I was up anyway) and getting loads of bargains, mainly clothes for Sam. Mean while the little people and Tim headed over to his parents for the day as I was organising Laura's wedding. After picking up my very hungover assistant we headed off to the reception venue to set up and then it was off to the service venue to set up and boy did we work. After battling against gale winds, we were in gardens high above the sea we were ready by the skin of our teeth finishing off with us in our knickers and bra getting changed behind the marquee with guests arriving - who said doing events was glamarous! After a great service and drinks, it was off to the reception where after a few more hours of working I then chilled out, enjoyed the vodka and even threw some moves on the dance floor.

A huge THANK YOU to Cala, Frannnkkkkkk could not wish for a better helper!

Whilst I was at the wedding the little people and Tim went to Bluebell Railway for a ride on the train and then Nanny and Grandad looked after them whilst Tim joined me in the evening.

The cake!

The happy couple

Friday 18th July
Busy, busy day! We had to run some errands this morning in prepartion for Laura & Ollie's wedding tomorrow and then it was off to meet Emma, Carys and Aston at Drusillas for a few fun hours of running around looking at the animals, enjoying the play park and finishing off with a ride on Thomas! Daisy and Sam had a great time. I really get an easy ride as a parent as generally our little people are so good, believe me they have there moments but thankfully not that often.
We said goodbye to Emma and her little people and headed off to the grounds where the wedding is taking place to check that the marquees had been put up. After some more wedding talk with the brides parents Sue and Andy and some dancing (Daisy and Sue) we headed home to chill out before our busy day tomorrow!
