Today we hung out at home this morning and received a parcel in the post. It was from Gill and Bernard and Daisy was very excited to see that it contained a CBeebies tshirt for both her and Sam and five new books, all of stories that they read on CBeebies - Daisy and Daddy were very pleased to get some new books for bedtime so a huge THANK YOU to Gill and Bernard for the great parcel.
When I was hanging the clothes washing up in the garden my little lady got her chair, drink, biscuit and magazine and sat by the line watching me hanging the washing up telling me I need to relax more! She is such her father's daughter. Anyway I told her that we could relax together in the front room whilst I did the ironing. So as I picked up her chair and drink to carry in she said to me ' You know mum we make such a good team don't we' which made me think two things: 1. How cute is that and 2. Where does she learns these things from?
In the afternoon Daisy went off to the cinema with Nanny Maureen and her Nanny's friend Val and Val's two granddaughters. They went to see Kung Fu Panda and Daisy had a great time. Whilst Daisy was out Sam and I worked in the garden, doing some digging, weeding, mowing the lawn and generally tidying up the garden.

Daisy relaxing whilst I was hanging up the washing (she is like this at four what is she going to be like at fourteen)! Spot the biscuit on the left arm of the chair, I thought it was quite cute how she put it there.
