Paddle Round the Pier

After a chilled morning we packed up our ruck sack with some lunch time goodies and started our walk along the seafront to Paddle Round the Pier. Daddy's friend Lucy was skating at the half pipe demo so the little people were quite excited to get along there. On the way we bumped into our friends John and Sarah who unfortunately we have not caught up with for a while as they have not long had their third child. Daisy was super excited to see Maisy so we took a slow walk up to the activities. Daddy tried his hand or should I say feet at Tango dancing before we lost him to skateboarding for the afternoon. Daisy had a fun time completing the British Miltary Fitness course and then both of them spent ages climbing up and then going down the huge inflatable slide... by this time we had also bumped into our friends Emma & Mark with their two little people at which point we decided to head down to the sea for a quick dip as it was rather hot.

After a lovely relaxing afternoon we made our way back with John and Sarah stopping off for Italian Ice Cream on the way.
