A mixed old bag today and yesterday...

Today we found out that Sam's right ear drum had burst. He mentioned yesterday that he had a poorly ear twice but otherwise he was on top form, he had a broken night last night so decided to take him to the doctors this morning even though he woke up with no pain. The ear had started to weep by the time we got there and the doc confirmed an ear infection and also said the drum had burst so expect more discharge and by tea time it was really weeping but still the little fella was on top form.

Daisy had wear pink to school day to day and I wish I took a picture as I don't think I have ever seen someone with so many items of pink clothing on:
1. Pink knickers
2. Pink socks
3. Pink shoes
4. Pink leggings
5. Pink skirt
6. Pink long sleeved top
7. Pint t-shirt over long sleeved one
8. Pink zip up
9. Pink hair clip
10. Pink lunch bag

Yesterday - what a day Thursday was; Meeting, funeral, haircut, seeing daddy at work, mumm and daddy going on a date

I had a PTA meeting at Daisy's school and as Sam was not at playgroup he had to come along which I was dreading as I didnt think he would let me get on but he was amazing and sat and played with his trains for an hour solid only asking for a glass of water. Such a good boy.

Sam's playgroup was closed as the church next door was holding a funeral for a 20 yr Brighton soldier that had died in Afgan recently. As he was a local lad and the funeral was at a church in our lives I thought we should pay our respects, so Sam and I stood on the opposite side of the road and watched the early proceedings. It was a beautiful funeral, he arrived with a police/army escort in a horse drawn carriage and there was miltary line up. However beautiful a funeral can be it was so sad to see his realitives and friends. Having got a very close family member in the army I found it very hard to watch so we left before the coffin was taken in. Sam was amazing I was expecting him to fire questions and be excited about seeing soldiers/police bikes/horses but it was like he knew that what was going on was a sad experience as he stayed silent the whole time.

Mummy had all her hair cut off. It was down to just above my boobs and now it is cut above my neck. Short just like when I first met Daddy. Photos to follow soon.

After a packed morning we headed up to Crawley and met Daddy for lunch and a trip to the park.

Mummy and Daddy then went for a pizza and to the movies to watch 'Couple's Retreat'. An ok funny film but not Vince's best!

Lots of words but no pics, will have to get me camera out!
