What a great day

First we had church this morning and it was Harvest Festival, during the sermon we had to put seeds into balloons and then I blem them up with helium and we released them after the service - was a little embrassing as I ended up doing the release in front of 200 people.

We came home to get ready for Sam's 1st birthday party. His b-day is not until Thursday but we had a party today to celebrate with his family. We had it on the theme of a traditional party - old school style so lots of sandwiches, crisps, sausage rolls, cup cake, cornflake cakes, tea cakes, etc. We also played some old school games, Pin the tale on the donkey, Music bumps, Egg & spoon and team games that involved balloons, bananas and things on strings. Everybody was a great sport and joined in.

Sammy boy wanted to say thank you for all the fantastic presents he got. So a huge THANK YOU to:Nanny Maureen for the clothes, Nanny Anne and Grandad for the football and book, Uncle Carl and gang for the wooden toy, Cala and Jay for the tool box, Aunty Susie and gang for the clothes, Aunty Debby and gang for the cushion and finally Uncle Murphy and Aunty Jo for the wonderful ride on bike - how cool is that!

Sammy boy is one (well on Thursday)
