Work, nursery and first's

Daisy was at Footsteps Nursery all day as Thursday is usually my event work day. After dropping Daisy off, Sam and I headed to the supermarket where Sam purchased his first toy truck and his first cup. Nanny Maureen then took Sam out for a couple of hours so that I could get some work done. After his adventure with Nanny Maureen, he then came home and emptied the cereal out of the kitchen cupboard onto the floor - another first. He was in his element crunching around and eating as much of it as possible as I tried to hoover it up. It was then time to pick Daisy up from nursery where she had a fun day with her friends Ruby and Hayley. Mind you she learnt a couple of new words 'Shut up'. I explained to her that it was rude and naughty to say these to someone, which she replied by telling me to 'Shut up' hence a quick delivery to her bedroom and put to bed without a story.

Tim came home from work to a standing Sam - another first. Well he stood for the first time last week but today he was standing for his longest time.

Tim was distraught that there was no story time so asked me to find another punishment other than no story for Daisy in the future as he feels he is also being punished as story time is one of his favourite parts of the day!! So we agreed the future punishment of taking her leggings away! Which she will not like as she loves her leggings! Tim is now walking around laughing and saying ' Nobody tells, mummy to shut up, Mummy can be so ruthless when she wants to be'.

Anyway after a hectic day, it was nice to chill out with our friends Dan and Vic who came over for dinner.
