Summer is finally here...

The weather today has been fantastic so we decided to head down to the Lagoon where we met our friends Merryne, Imogen, Martine and Lucas (Imogen, Lucas and Daisy are the same age). Merryn told us the sad news that they were moving to Cornwall at the end of the month, Daisy will miss Imogen lots but we have promised to visit.

We arrived at the Lagoon at a perfect time as it was nice and quiet, but by lunch time it was getting very busy so we headed to the park for our picnic. After spending a couple of hours in the park, Sammy boy was shattered so we came home with Merryn and Imogen and the girls played in the garden. After lots of running around, dressing up and dancing, it was time to relax, see pic below of girls chilling and having their snack. Before we knew it, it was 4.30pm so to finish the day I painted both of the girls faces as rabbits.

It is now 7.12pm, dinner and bathtime are out of the way and we have two very happy, clean but shattered children having story time with Daddy while I update the blog.

The only thing to do now is tidy the garden, as it looks like a bomb has gone off. Oh the glamour of Friday night.
