Playtime and a great lunch

This morning we headed over to Martine and Lucas for a playdate (Martine is a friend of mine that I have met since having Daisy and she has a boy Lucas) and found lots of other little there including Imogen which made Daisy very happy. Martine had made us all a de;icious lunch. The little people had pizza and the adults were treated to wait for it...rabbit pate (which was made by Martine's mum in France), a fantastic salad and bread. What a treat, little people entertained and a great lunch all in one. The Parker family love going to Martine's for food as it is always different and tasty and of course the company. I forgot to take the camera so unfortunately no pics.

We left Martine's mid afternoon and stopped off at the shop on the way home for treats - chocolate for Daisy and a magazine for me. Sammy boy was fast asleep so didn't get anything.

The afternoon was spent chilling out at home, with lots of cuddles and trashing the lounge by getting out every toy possible. And if we didn't have enough toys as it was, nanny Maureen turned up with a surprise each for Daisy - the DVD of High School Musical and for Sam - a fire engine which he loves playing with. Daisy is dancing along to the dvd whilst I write this, so both a great success.
Then we had a surprise visit from Martine with a late birthday present of a lovely bracelet for me, so it was presents all round.
