Were going to the Zoo Zoo Zoo

The little people went to London Zoo today with their Aunty Jo and Uncle Murphy and had a great time, they saw loads of animals and the pics below Daisy took on her camera, unfortunately all the other photos were through glass so did not come out great.

Another day off for Daddy

Daddy had a day off today so after a trip to the park we headed over to the beach for a spot of sandcastle building and a swim in the sea. We then took the little people over to Aunty Jo's and Uncle Murphy's as they were having a sleep over because they were all going to London Zoo tomorrow.

Chocolate Dip plate & The Rockery

I treated the little people by taking them off to the fabulous Choccywoccydoodah Cafe in town this morning to have a Chocolate dipping plate. Choccywoccyoodah has it's own show on Living and years ago I had a cake from there for my birthday and although it looked fantastic it didn't taste great but thankfully things have changed and they now look as good as they taste and boy they have some fantastic creations. Anyway back to our dipping plate, we ordered a white chocolate truffle milkshake and a chocolate dipping plate for 2 - which thankfully was sufficient for us chocolate lovers. It was delicious and certainly worth it even if I left feeling slightly sick!

I thought I would then show them where I sometimes went to play in my school holidays, the Rockery by Preston Park. It is quite surreal that you have the main A23 road running between a large beautiful park and the rockery. There isnt a huge amount to do at the Rockery it is on a slop and you climb up stone steps inbetween the trees and flowers, zig zagging across the bridges and over the stepping stones. The little people loved it and we spent over an hour exploring and look for fairies. It is still a beautiful place to go but it is a shame the council doesnt give it as much love and attention as when they did when I was small.

Day with friends

Today we headed over to Brooklands Park in Worthing and meet my friend Emma with her two children Carys and Aston who are good friends of my two (they are the same age). Brooklands is just a local park but it has lots of activities in the Summer holidays. First was horse riding which both Samuel and Daisy loved, then it was a walk round the park, we then stopped off for a picnic. The little ran off their lunch with lots of playing in the playground before a ride on the train.

Emma had told me about a sandy beach near where we live, which I couldn't quite believe as Hove is not known for its sandy beachs more its mounds of pebbles with some more pebbles thrown on top. But after a 5 minute drive we arrived at our destination and I am keeping this a secret as it is a great find and we don't want it to be over crowded the next time we go. You have to ensure the tide is out and boy it is worth it, it was like being on beach in the Med!

The little people had a great day and were suitable worn out!

New addition to the family

I am yet to add a photo of the new addition to our family... our new car (not brand new but new to us). Samuel is beside him with excitement as it has sliding doors. We have had the car three weeks on Monday.

BUT there will now be a delay with the photo as some arse, actually that is too polite some S??t head drove into my car whilst it was parked in a car park (I wasnt there) and took out the front bumper resulting in lots of £££ damage as the whole front of the car needs to be replaced and guess what, yep you guessed it they drove off and didnt leave their details! What is wrong with people? Iam not a happy bunny.
