Tim and I saw the new year in together laying in bed listening to the chimes of Big Ben in London and as always I went into the little people to wake them up to wish them a Happy New Year (Tim was horrified at the thought why wake them up at midnight). Daisy was having none of it and went straight back to sleep but my little fella, this is what makes him so unique and loveable. I went over and as I kissed him he said 'Happy New Year Mum' - I wanted to cry so I got him up gave him a huge cuddle and we watched some of the Brighton & Hove fireworks from his bedroom window. As corny as it sounds this has got to be at the top of my list of one of the best ways to see the New Year in, warm and snuggled with one of my little people. He then came into bed with Tim and I watched the London fireworks which went on for 12 minutes and were amazing, well done London. The Parker's then slept their way into the first day of 2012!
