Daisy broke up from school today for the summer holidays but what makes this day so different is it is her last day at infant school. As an infant school they only go up to year 2 so it is a natural move.
Now today I was expecting it to be a very emotional day for the little ladies but they were fantastic, poor old Libby had a wobble but otherwise I think they had covered most of the emotions in the run up to this day. I am so proud of our little lady she is being so positive saying "Mum, I am going to see them in the holidays and they only live round the corner" and it was us mum's that struggled more with our emotions. 3 years ago our little ladies joined this school not knowing each other and 3 years later they leave after lots of great memories as the best of friends.
We are over the moon that in September she is going on to a school that we love and has such a good reputation, unfortunately for Daisy she will be the 'new girl' but has the exciting journey of building new friendships, new rules/routines to learn and a completely different enviroment but knowing our Daisy pop's... a social butterfly, she will do just fine and shine like she always does. That's our little lady!
