We then looked at all the lovely Christmas windows and made our way to Regent Street for a visit to Hamley's although we stopped off in the cafe first before the little people got the run of the shop - hot chocolate with cream, yummy. We came out of Hamley's all hot and flustered to snow!
We headed down Carnaby Street admiring the great lights and made our way to Fortnum & Masons for last minute Christmas gifts. The little people are still walking at this point with no moaning and made our way towards Leicester Square for a suppa of pizza as requested by Daisy.
On the bus to Marble Arch Sam had seen the Winter Wounderland in Hyde Park which he decided to name the 'school fair' - he was desperate to go to see the school fair and I must say Angela and I werent keen as we had been a few years before and it wasnt that great. Well what can I say other than 'Well Done Hyde Park' you have out done yourself - it was great - loads of crafty stalls, fantastic rides, Christmassy things to see, a talking story tree and to top it off it snowed whilst we were strolling through. The little people had a go on some of the rides but it was getting late and I was a little concerned that if the snow continued we would be staying in London so we walked back to Victoria and after trains being cancelled left, right and centre we finally boarded a train back home and a fast one at that. The little people had a fantastic day, they had walked their little socks off and were full of tales on the train for the first ten minutes and then both fell into a deep sleep and it was interesting trying to wake them the other end - lets put it this way they had to literally be dragged to Daddy's car as I couldnt carry both of them - but it was worth it. Roll on Christmas.
