This summer we had students so Daisy moved into Samuel's bedroom. Her paint work was looking a little tired as her room hadnt been decorated since she was one so before she moved back in I thought I would paint it. I also managed to get some lovely curtains and a matching rug in the Laura Ashley sale and with a new lamp it was on its way to being a Princess's room.
It used to be painted in two colours so I decided to tone it down a bit and just do it in a very pale lilic and then dress it with the pink check curtains and rug. Daddy and Samuel did the last bit today, putting up the curtain pole - boys work - such hard work that they both had to take their tops off!
