Samuel is 4 on the 4th October and being the steam train fan he is wanted a steam train party - and clearly highlighted not a Thomas party a train party. So Jo, my business partner whipped up a little Engine logo in Sam's favourite colours to use on all of the party stuff.
We didnt want to hold his party at a Steam Railway attraction as he goes to the main one local to us every week with his grandad. We knew that there was a miniature railway in a park close to us but had never been on it or seen it in use so I did some research on the internet and found the gentleman that ran it and he explained that it is volunteers that run it one Saturday a month and they would more than be happy for us to have it half hour before they open to the public for our private use for the party, so it was decided we would meet in the park an hour before and play some games and have lunch.
Everything is ready for tomorrow.... well not everything the sponge is in the oven and will hopefully be turned into something looking like a train. We just need for the rain to stop now!
What else has been happening in the Life of the Hove Parker's?
It has been a busy time recently, the little people are back to normal busy routines of school/playgroup, swimming, Rainbows, friends parties, etc, Tim is working and spending his free time in the skatepark and I am juggling the houe, little people, corporate work and the new business so as far as I am concerned there are not enough hours in the day at the moment.
Today was an inset day for Daisy so she hung out with me in the morning running errands and then we picked Sam up from playgroup and headed over for a play at Monkey Business.
