Weekend update

We have been busy bees this weekend!!

Tea Cups & Tiaras had a few last minute bookings and what with supplying the vintage china for a marquee at Pride this weekend it has been manic. Friday night was sewing and prepping the party kits to go out. Saturday morning was spent sending the stuff out and delivering and then we got to spend the afternoon as a family at Drusillas to celebrate Elsie's birthday. The weather was kind and we had a lovely afternoon, Kelly did a beautiful Pepper Pig picnic and then the little people stripped down to their pants/knickers for a dip in the paddling pool (whilst I got stung for the first time by a bee). It was then off on a ride on Thomas much to Sam's delight. Unfortunately I had to leave early and pick up the vintage china.

Sunday morning Sam went to his first car boot sale as I was looking for vintage china, the first one he was happy to look at the beginning but then wasnt too happy walking past all the stalls with toys even though they were not toys he wanted. We went to another one and the first stall he picked up a small steam train with some of his pocket money, boy was he excited, I got a glass cake stand which was a good find at an excellent price of £1 - wey hay. It got even better as Sam also scored a plastic saxophone which he has not let go of - he managed to spend all of his pocket money of 50p! Walking back to the car he was so happy about his purchases he was asking where the next car boot was!!

In the afternoon we cut back the front hedge and Daddy did the most fantastic job of clearing our side access - well done Daddy. xxx
