What a great weekend... Sunday's report

This morning Nanny, Daisy and Sam were up bright and early for breakfast and they then walked round the lake at the hotel twice in aid of the 'Hilton's walk round the world day' they completed two miles for the walk so a very big WELL DONE.

After Tim and I had had breakfast it was time to pack up the car and head off for our second day of adventure - a day trip to Drayton Manor, a theme park in Tamworth that we had never heard of until they opened Thomas the Tank Engine Land this year.

There was lots of excitement in the car from the little and big people about what adventures we were going to have, first stop was Thomas Land where we went on a train ride on Percy, Sam was so excited. Then Sam, Daisy and I flew in Harold the heliocopter. Daisy then drove a tractor whilst Sam had a little nap. Unfortunately Sam was a little poorly today with his chest but thankfully nothing like it used to be. Before heading into the rest of the theme park Daisy went on her first roller coaster which she loved. We then went off for some lunch, followed by a walk around the zoo and then on a ride that Daddy chose - Pirates Adventure and then we went on another ride that was on a boat.

As we had a long drive home we left the park around three and managed to be back in Brighton before six which was good going. We had a great weekend and the little people were so good, not one moan out of them all weekend. The car was quiet on the way home as everyone was sleeping!

Nanny took some great photos at Thomas Land which I will upload once I get them from her but here are some of ours...
