A great birthday weekend

For my birthday present my mum (Nanny Maureen) treated Tim and I to a night in the Brighton Metropole, so yesterday we left home at 5pm and headed off to the hotel via M&S for some tasty nibbles. We had a lovely room with a balcony over looking the sea so we chilled eating our nibbles and sipping our martinis for a while before heading out to the movies to see Sex and the City and for some dinner - it was lovely to spend some time together without having to worry about little people, work or the house work! We then had a lie in, followed by a cooked breakfast and then another nap before Nanny Maureen brough the little people to see us around 11.30am.

We then headed home for an afternoon relaxing in the garden, well Daddy and the little people did. I unfortunately could not enjoy the sunshine as I had work to catch up on.

Saturday 7th June
After a busy week, we had a day out at the South of England Show today with Dan and his children Callum and charlotte. Daisy and callum loved running around the place daring each other to do things - little monkeys! Sam was very excited about seeing the animals and tried to climb into the many pens!
Arriving at the show, Tim ahead, Daisy and Callum holding hands in the middle and Sam and I following behind

Fed up with walking so Daisy decided to drive Callum around

After trying out many tractors, Sam decides on the one he wants

Clapping the showjumping

Clever boy - knowing to suck the drips at the bottom!

Now Daisy normally loves chocolate but took one bite of this and didnt have any more, so unfortunately mummy had to finish it off

Taken by Daisy just before we left the show
