Welcome home Sammy Boy

Our little fella came home today after spending nearly three nights in the children's hospital. He woke up on Saturday evening crying as if in such pain, when he calmed down I noticed he was working really hard to breath so we called the doctor who told us to come straight in. When we got there they said he had to go to hospital, they give him oxygen and as Sam had been here a few times before we came home as normally he recovers quite quickly but within a couple of hours he was not better so it was back to the hospital. They kept him in for four hours and he had improved so we came home at 8am on Sunday morning. We hung around the house in the morning, Cousin Cala came to Daisy's rescue and took her off for the day. Tim and I then decided to take Sam back to the hospital where they admitted him with Bronchiolitis.

Over the past two days he has been receiving treatment every two hours throughout the day and night so the poor little fella is shattered. Thankfully he has made a brillant recovery and is now only on an inhaler every four hours so was allowed home this morning.

We were very fortunate enough to be at the new childrens hospital in Brighton which has great facilities for children and parents and fantastic staff. So a big thank you to the staff nurses there for taking such great care of Sam (and me). Also a massive THANK YOU to:

Nanny Maureen for looking after and picking up Daisy from playgroup, cooking Tim dinner and the support and cuddles you gave Sam and I.

Grandad Frank for taking Daisy to playgroup, bringing us home from the hospital, making sure we had everything we needed and for the flowers.

Cala for looking after Daisy on Sunday, visiting everyday with chocolate supplys and the text conversations about my sister Jo fancying Marco from Hells Kicthen!!!!

Aunty Jo for visiting everyday, the fantastic meals on wheels (she brought me dinner both nights along with snacks) and just being there.

Daddy for looking after Daisy, visiting us, giving us lots of cuddles, keeping everything at home together (and tidy) and all whilst working.

To all those that called and sent emails and texts.
