Our little lady on the stage

This morning was complete chaos! Tim was preparing for an important presentation and just before I took Daisy to dance school, I thought it would be safe to give Sam some free nappy time as he had his morning poo (too much detail I know but you will understand why). Anyway after leaving him for a minute to put something away I come back to find not only him covered in poo but most of his bedroom carpet (which is off-white) and also the hallway carpet (which is cream). So major clean up operation went into full swing. We then came down stairs where he then pulled aload of dishes out of the kitchen cupboard smashing some on the tiled floor. So this weekend the cupboard locks are going on and no more free nappy time for Sam for a while!

We picked up Daisy from dance school and she had had her stage make up and her hair done for the big dance show tonight. We then came home for lunch and hung out at home as Daisy had to be taken to the theatre at 5pm for a final rehearsal and then the curtains were up at 7pm.

Tim, Sam, Nanny Maureen, Aunty Debby, Aunty Jo, Uncle Murphy, Cousins: Cala, Bobby, Mia and I all went along to see Daisy in her first ever performance. I was a little nervous for her as I was not sure how she was going to react being on stage in front of an audience but she was fantastic, a real star and did some great dancing making her mummy and daddy very proud. Tim and I went to the backstage area to collect her and she came out running saying "Did you see me, did you see me, cos I couldn't see you". We did see and have it all on film!
We then came home and were joined by Jo, Murphy, Cala, Bob and Mia for some late supper. Tim has gone into town to meet some old work friends for a drink so we took the time to decorate the kitchen as it is his birthday tomorrow.
