After dropping Daisy off at nursery, Sam and I headed home and he had a nap whilst I got on with some event work. We then went into town as Sam needs some shoes to wear as he is cruising the furniture and has taken two steps on his own. We met up with Nanny Maureen and made our way to Clarks to get his feet measure - 3.5 G. Now there was me thinking he would be like his sister was, sitting nicely whilst we measured his feet and tried shoes on but no he was off crawling for the nearest display of shoes, pulling them all down so no option but back in the buggy! He was all over the place walking round the shop as had never worn shoes before at all. We purchased a pair and he then spent the afternoon trying to eat and suck them (whilst they were still on his feet).
Sam went off for a couple of hours with Nanny Maureen and I felt lost as I had no little people or Tim around and no event work to do (of course I had housework - thought I would point that out for Dawn). I had a stroll round the shops and saw loads of cool High School Musical stuff that Daisy would love in the Disney store so will have to take her in there with her pocket money this weekend.
Daisy and Sam are home alone tonight with Daddy as I am off out with my friend's Karen and Julie to one of their houses for dinner.
