Unfortunately Daddy has man flu so it not a happy chappy at the moment.
Daisy went to dancing with Nanny Maureen and won two huge trophies, one for a solo dance. She is so proud of herself and the Parker home now has two trophies to display (photos to follow).
The little people and I went off to see Cinderella at the theatre this afternoon with Nanny Maureena and Angie. It was a musical production rather than a panto, the costumes were stunning along with the scenery and there was lots of dancing and singing but I think next year we will go to a panto as I think the little people will enjoy it more.

It's just what I always wanted...
Today was our little handsome fellas pre-school nativity play, he played the part of James the little boy listening to the nativity story, he had a speaking part and was fantastic.
Unforunately Daisy doo was poorly and had to be collected from school at lunch time. She is never ever poorly and is really upset that she was missing her school and Rainbow's christmas party.

Ginger bread houses
Daisy had her school friend Nancy over for a play day and we decided to make/decorate a ginger bread house. We didnt get off to a great start as when we took the walls and roof out of the box, the roof was cracked so we built our house carefully putting it together with icing and then the little people got to work. To be honest with their heavy hands it didnt stand a chance and after about five minutes it collapsed - not quite the Good Housekeeping Ginger Bread house we were expecting!!!!!

What a day!
Mummy's day today:
Wake up, do breakfast, get little people ready for school/pre school, get myself ready, leave house and drop little lady at school, then go on to drop the little fella off at pre school. Drive 70 miles north for a corporate event meeting and then drive 70 miles back, arrive at local church hall to set up a bespoke party that T&T is organising, Daisy is dropped off by friend and is poorly, quickly pop home attend to Daisy with medicine and answer emails whilst having cuddles on the sofa, bundle sleeping Daisy into car and drive back to the hall to break down the party then drive to my mum's to pick up Sam, she very kindly picked him up from playgroup. Come home, feed and bath little people, get them ready for bed. Daddy comes home and does story time, I see food shopping delivery in, make packed lunches for tomorrow and finally sit down to dinner with Daddy at 8.30pm.
What a very busy day, talk about juggling and I dont want one like that for a long time please!

Twelfth day of Christmas
Today was a nice relaxing day as we had the Price family over for Sunday lunch, a nice day with the adults catching up over the kitchen table and the little people playing.

Eleventh day of Christmas
Erection of the Parker family Christmas tree.
Picture the scene... three Parker's not in the Christmas mood, one Parker that is usually so in the Christmas mood also not in the Christmas mood makes for four grumpy Parker's. Not a good combination when you have to purchase a real Christmas tree. They had a sweap steak in the car as to how many trees they would have to open up before we found the right one, last year we didnt look because the year before there was so much moaning and we ended up with a tree with a great big chunk missing out of it so this year I wanted to see it before we carted it home. By the time we reached the store they were nearly out of trees, can you believe it espically when it is only the 11th December, anyway after looking at three of out the ten battered trees left we picked one and the Parker boys carried it to the car.
Unfortunately we hadnt looked that closely and when we got it home a few gaps so we had to chop and re-arrange a bit.
The 2010 Parker Family tree is below and you even get a sneak peak of our new shutters - how nice do they look even if I say so myself, tree isnt so bad either.

Tenth day of Christmas
Daddy had a day off work - wey hay! I, mummy have been looking forward to this day for weeks. We dropped the little people off at school and playgroup and headed into town to do some Christmas shopping it was lovely to stop for coffee (tea in my case) and chat without having little people interupting, after a spot of more shopping we had lunch at Cote which was lovely.
We then went to pick up the little people and took them to Daisy's school fair, normally something I organise but this year I helped in the run up but not on the actual day so it was nice to go round with Daisy. After a visit with Father Christmas (unfortunately I didnt have my camera when Sam went in) with Flo and Ed, the school choir were performing as part of the fair and as Daisy is in the choir she got to sing. It was lovely of Nanny Maureen, Nanny Anne and Grandad to come along to see her.
After leaving the fair the day didnt stop there, we then went over to Nanny Maureen's and the little people helped her decorate her Christmas tree whilst Daddy and I went to the movies to see The Tourist.
What a great day for all the Parker family.
