Daisy's first ski lesson

Daddy and Daisy went to Hemel Hempstead for Daisy's first ski lesson. Daisy loved it and passed her beginners Level One which made her Daddy so proud. They finished off their Daddy date with lunch in Pizza Express.

"Mum, did you know that I am never going to get married and then I can live with you for ever and ever and ever" Sammy boy told me as we dropped Daisy off at Rainbows this afternoon.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMMY BOY xxxxx

The little fella was up bright and early this morning (it was still dark outside), might have something to do with this birthday!

He unwrapped his presents from Daddy, Daisy and I and then we took him into the front room to show him his track (which we had set up the night before) which he loved and spent the next couple of hours playing with it before being dragged off to playgroup.

Unfortunately I got a call about midday from playgroup saying that he was unwell so I dashed over to pick him up and he was very pale and quite - very unlike our Sammy boy. So we came home and had lots of cuddles amoungst the mess of trying to get ready for the family birthday tea. Thankfully Grandad and Nanny came to the rescue and took over on the cuddle front whilst I went to get Daisy. The throwing up then started, the poor little fella has a tummy bug.

Sam had decided he wanted a toy story tea! So after working this morning and then having to collect Sam early I manage to turn around something with T&T supplies and Sam's toy story toys. Sam looked at it and said 'It's beautiful but you know my tummy really hurts and doesnt like it!'

All the family (Nanny Maureen, Jo, Murphy, Cala, Andy, Jay, Kelly, Charlie, Debby, Kelly, Elsie, Tilly, Grandad, Nanny Anne, Susie, Lucy and my friends Angela and Alan came over but unfortunately he wasnt up too much socialising until after he had thrown up over Daddy (in his work suit) and then declared it was time for present opening although very much encouraged by Aunty Jo.

After presents and candle blowing he flopped again and was back in bed.

Thank you to our lovely family and friends for all the cards and great presents, he was very spoilt. Also a big thank you to Nanny Maureen for his fantastic Thomas balloon.

The night before our little fella is 4

Where does the time go, it only seems like yesterday that he was born. At bedtime (a few moments ago) I was telling the story of when he was born.

Nanny Maureen came to collect Daisy and take her out for the day and then Uncle Murphy came to collect Daddy and I to take us to the hospital where the doctors where going to help Mummy get Samuel out of my tummy (thankfully no questions as to how and why - but for when is older he came out of the sun roof) and he finally came out at ??pm weighing ??

I was the first to have a cuddle and fell in love with him the moment I saw that little mans face with the baggest eyes you had ever seen with lots of black hair - he looked like a Forbes! Whilst the doctors saw to me, Daddy had his first cuddle.

We named you Samuel (because we like the name) David Forbes (after my late father) Parker (had to be as Tim wouldnt agree to Forbes as his surname).

Within a few hours visitors were arriving, first was Grandad followed by Nanny Maureen and Daisy, then Cala followed by Aunty Jo and Uncle Murphy.

I remember quite clearly in the evening I was feeling quite poorly and being sick and Sammy boy did such a stinker in his nappy that Uncle Murphy had to help Daddy change him. Sammy got loads of cuddles from his family.

After everyone left my little fella and I were left to chat and have lots of cuddles - and to this day they are still two of my favourite things to do with him. There is nothing like a Sammy boy cuddle (well other than a Timmy boy or a Daisy doo cuddle).

After 4 years Samuel is also known as:

Little Fella
Sammy boyd de boyd de boo boo
Sammy boy
Sam
Handsome pants

This is what Daddy and I did after you went to bed so you could have all your track out to play with after your birthday breakfast...

Tooth no 7 comes out

Daisy lost her tooth that was bottom second from the middle on the left this morning so the tooth fairy will be visiting tonight. I think the little lady has been having doubts as to whether the tooth fairy and father christmas are real so we watched the film 'The Tooth Fairy' this afternoon and thankfully I think we are still leaning towards believing than not believing!!

We havent really done much today other than eat, read the papers, watch a film and do two loads of washing. We still havent unloaded the chairs and tables from the car from yesterday and I did start to clear my wardrobe out and the clothes are still all over my bed so I had better stop blogging and get on with stuff.
