Well hello Micky, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Buzz, Woody, Daisy, Cinderella, Arial......

The little people woke up with great excitement as today we were off to Euro Disney, breakfast couldnt be eaten quick enough and clothes were put on super fast. We only had a five minute drive to Disneyland so we arrived just in time for opening. Mummy being the planner she is she had planned the day to fit in as much as possible so first stop was 'It's a small small world' which was fantastic, so good in fact that we went on it twice as there was no que. It was then off for a spin in the tea cups. After the tea cups we went around Alice in Wonderlands adventure. It was getting very hot at this point so it was a quick stop for drinks, etc. We then had a wonder round before a go on the big carasel by the castle. Another break of the most expensive ice cream!!

It was midday by this point so we headed up into the castle and had a look round, we then had a quick look in the shops, the little people were happy to just look and didnt plague us for stuff which was nice, although they did have some spending money from Nanny Maureen and Nanny Anne which we were saving for later on in the day so we didnt have to carry everything.

Daddy had fast tracked us on the Peter Pan ride which was great as we just walked straight to the front of the que. It was a great ride flying throught he sights of the Peter Pan story in the dark.

Sam was desperate to go on the steam train so we boarded at Fantasty Land and went all the way round before getting off and seeing The Steam Train All Aboard show. After the show we chilled and had some lunch as the day had been pretty full on. It was then time to watch the parade, whislt Daddy held our position the little people spent their pocket money, Sam on a toy story lazer gun and Daisy on some pink thing that goes round and lights up!

After the parade we headed into Universal Studios to see the Disney Play House Live interactive show, we then had a little look round as this park is aimed at older children plus we had another show to see in Disneyland.

We watched the character spectacular in front of the castle, it was great to see all the characters in one go. After this show we headed over to the Buzz Light Year ride which was great fun as we got to play with lazer guns. By this point we were going to go on one more ride but we were all hot and tired so decided to call it a day and headed back to our hotel for suppa.

We all had a great day and the park was lots of fun, the weather was fantastic the onyl downside is they let far too many people into the park. The que times were silly some nearly two hours, I know that we went on a Saturday in half term but it was crazy. All it is a pain to plain in advance I am glad we did as it meant we hardly qued for things and got to see loads of shows so packed loads in. It was a fantastic day but I think one day of it is enough. We would go back but I think out of season as there was still loads we didnt do and we didnt even get to see one of the lands. We also didnt see that many characters and when we did people were mobbing them it was silly.

Day 7 - Bonjour Paris

Tim and I have visited Paris many times so we took the opportunity to show the little people the sites of Paris. We left our camp site at 6am and travelled up to our hotel in Paris, upon arrival circa 8.45am we were happy to see we were in 5* luxury. After a quick bit of belaxing (as Samuel would say) we headed to the train station to go into Paris.

We boarded the train at EuroDisney and the station was jam packed, we braved the ticket machine and managed to get the right train tickets or as the French say Billets. Sam was beside himself with excitement that he was going on a French train and also the Metro.

We spent the afternoon visiting the sites, the little people were fantastic. First stop was the Eiffel Tower, it was hot hot hot in Paris today. We then walked / got the Metro around the city.
We stopped for some lunch at a trendy little cafe over looking the Louve, it was perfect timing as Sam fell asleep so we had a nice relaxing lunch in the shade.

After some more sight seeing we were all shattered from our week of late nights, our early start and our long hot day in Paris so we headed back to our hotel where we did some more belaxing (relaxing).

Day 6 - A day of sun shine and last day at the site

Today was hot hot hot... wey hay...

We spent the day at the pool and had great fun swimming, the little people spent nearly the whole day in the different pools and had a fantastic time. During lunch time we headed to the local supermarket 'Internmarche' to stock up on supplies and the Sam and Daisy pushed the mini trollys around.

We braved the very cold water in the outdoor pools and went on the slides, although Daddy wasnt so brave and would only go in the indoor heated pools.

We finally left the pool at 6pm and headed back to our caravan for a bbq and to pack up ready for our departure for Paris.

Day 5 - Rain, Pirates Club, Bikes, Sun & Swimming Pools

We are in the fifth day of our holiday and the day started cold and cloudy but again due to a late night we were up late. Sam hung out with us and Daisy went to Pirate club for the morning. After lunch Daddy and Sam hired a cart with the voucher Daisy had won in the best dancing competition last night.

We set off down hill and it was all pleasent and then we reached a hill and boy was it hard work. The sun had decided to make an appearance so it was hot and hardwork but we are not complaining about the weather bring the warmth on! Sam loved it and kept shouting for us to go faster. We rode round the site a few times having fun going down the hills, going up wasnt as much fun.

The afternoon was spent at the pool making the best of the clear skys. The little people had a great time and had to be dragged out at closing time.

To go to the club house we have to pass the car entry barriers and the Parker's not like normal people walked round them but we had to limbo under them! See pic below

Day 4 - Blois

Today's forecast is the same as the past few days so it was rain coats rather than swimming suits!! We had a lazy morning (due to our very late night) and then headed out to the town of Blois, we were all a bit down with the weather so we crawled around the town, admired the shops, sneaked into the Chateau (without paying, Sam went in first and we followed!), had a picnic in the rain and a play in the park.

It was then back to the site for a swim firstly in the rain and then in the indoor pool as it was getting very chilly. The rain didnt stop so we walked back to our caravan in our swimming stuff as we were only going to get wet again (see pic below).

I am a little down about this holiday - the caravan is nice, the site is very friendly, clean and nice, the scenery is very green, lush and flat and the weather is sh?t. If the weather was warm it would make all the difference, all I ask is one holiday a year in the warmth.

After freezing our nuts off all day, we went to the evening entertainment and the little people had great fun playing with Sophia, Josh and Elliott whilst Tim and I sat chatting to Martin and Jen (their parents). All the little people had their face painted, now normally Sam is just happy to watch other people having this done but tonight he braved it and was a Train Driver. He was so chuffed and there was lots of tears when it came to washing it off. It was a late night home as we stumbled back to our caravans just gone midnight.

And you know what... the weather cleared and it was a lovely warm evening!! Daisy had a great time as she danced, danced and danced some more and then one a free carting session for being one of the best dancers.

Day 3 - Chateau de Chenonceau

On our third day of grey skys we thought we would head out to one of the famous chateau's - Chateau de Chenonceau. It really was truly beautiful and the sun came out from lunch time so after a walk in the gardens, a trip through the chateau - Daisy loved seeing all the different royal beds and wanted her pic taken by all of them, Sam soon joined in on the act. We had a picnic with the ducks by the river and then finished off with a visit to the wax musuem before ending up at the play park.

By the time we got back to the site it was lovely and sunny so it was time for a dip in the pool. Wey Hay we have sun!
