We like to party!

Tim and I had took it in turns of a lay in this morning after one too many gin's and martini's last night. Daisy and I left the boys in bed and headed off to church. It was then back home for a quick lunch before we went to Lucas's 4th birthday party, which was fancy dress. We finally left at 6.30pm after a fun filed packed afternoon and the little people were shattered.

Party party...

Unfortunately we did not get a good nights sleep last night as Sammy boy had a really bad cough that kept waking him up, thankfully it is a once in a blue moon situation as we have been blessed with two great little sleepers. It was a lazy morning until 9.30am when Daisy went disco dancing with nanny Maureen, Daddy went to the gym and Sam and I hit the supermarket for supplies. On the way home as mummy has been working lots and it is the end of the month I was feeling a little flush so Sam scored some new skater boy trainers on the way home.

After a cooked breakfast it was off to a joint birthday party for Carys and Aston at Funplex. We meet Mark and Emma when we were expecting Daisy so Daisy and Cary have known each other since they were a few weeks old. On the way home from the party Sam needed some vests and whilst we were in the store we spotted some Thomas pj's and some Dora pj's and as the little people were short on pj's another purchase was made.

It was a dash home to have a quick tidy up before the Richardson's family came round for some suppa and cocktail making - Daddy scored some bottles of booze from work this week!

What a week!

I am updating the blog at work as we have not had a computer at home since Tuesday as one of my clients has our hard drive to see if I can connect to their network from home. I am taking it home with me tonight so we should be set up again from tomorrow.

It has been a busy week, I have worked everyday and the little people have been in nursery. Sam has really enjoyed it as it means he gets attention 24/7 but I think Daisy misses being able to potter around at home and I know she misses playgroup. Anyway this working full time is only for a few weeks. Although I have been busy it has been quite a nice week as I had a long lunch meeting at Quaglino's in London on Wednesday and today I did a menu tasting at The Dorcester on Park Lane, London. I have never been in the hotel and I have always wanted to, I felt really quite spoilt and the bonus I was being paid for being there. I have an event there in June and November so will get to stay there twice this year, yep hey!

Happy Birthday Mum/Nanny Maureen

The little people had nursery today and the big people work and then it was time to celebrate Nanny Maureen's birthday as today is the actual day even though the celebrations started last week.

A day in the garden!

Wey hay, camera charger found, camera back in action.

The sun returned to Brighton today so we took the opportunity to spend some time getting the garden ready for the summer. Tim really dislikes gardening but seemed to be ok once he got stuck in. I think we will need another day at it before it is nice and tidy though!

We also received a package from our friend Sylvia in America who we miss seeing very much. Nanny Maureen scored a birthday present, so did Daisy and I and Sammy got one so he wasnt left out along with some tooth pics for Daddy!

The little people are poorly

The little people have been really poorly this week with sickness and diahorria, all they have seemed to do is be sick, produce running stinky poos and sleep. I had booked them into nursery four days out of five this week as I was meant to be working but they have been home with me. Nanny Maureen and Nanny and Grandad came to visit yesterday which was great as it meant I got a bit of a breather. We also had a new double glazed door in the front room leading out to the garden and a new bathroom window fitted so it was good that the little people slept most of the day as the dust was unbelieveable.

I had some meetings today out of town and thankfully Nanny Anne came to the rescue and looked after the little people all day, so a huge THANK YOU to Nanny Anne and for the fish'n'chip suppa.

Unfortunately no photos as we cannot find the charger for the camera - opps! I think I feel the need to purchase another camera....makes a change!

Happy 8th Birthday Bob!

Sunday morning started off with breakfast at Jo's chalet again and unfortunately Sam decided to decorate their sofa with the contents of his tummy, the little fella is still poorly so spent most of the day asleep in his buggy or being cuddled.

Today is Bobby's 8th birthday so we hung around the chalets with Bob opening presents and then climbed down the cliff to the beach. We then arrange a midday meet to go into Christchurch where we had another celebratory lunch for nan's bday, Bob's bday and Til's bday. After a gentle stroll round the Priory we headed over to the Boathouse for a feast. The plan was to have bday cake by the river but unfortunately it decided to pour with rain just after we came out of the restaurant so it was back to the clubhouse.

David, Dawn, Mia, Bob and Cala headed home and we stayed around for Bingo. Timmy boy got very excited shouting yes everytime he got a number! Aunty gill worn £10 on a line and Kelly and nan spilt £95 on full house - check them out! I think the shock of a full house was too much for Sam and he was very sick again and decided to coat me and his buggy in sick, he then got a nose bleed and at this time we decided it was time for us to head home after a great weekend. Daisy pops did not want to leave and asked why she couldnt stay at the chalet forever with her family!

Saturday 12th April 2008

Saturday morning started off with a yummy breakfast at Jo's chalet follwed by a swim in the indoor pool (we were not able to take photos in the pool) and then we all met up at 11.30 for our stroll along the beach. The plan was to have a fish and chip picnic on the beach but unfortunately not long after our stroll had started it poured with rain so it was a quick hop, skip and run to the nearest pub for shelter and of course a little tipple and some light lunch!

Once the rain had stopped we walked through the high street so uncle Murphy could stop at his favourite shop (see pics below) and I managed to have a little nap back at the chalet whilst Tim went into Christchurch with Sam and Daisy went bowling with Aunty Jo, Cala, Bob and Mia.

The afternoon went down hill for us Parker's as Sammy boy fell quite poorly and we had to pay a visit to Bournemouth hospital to get him checked out. Thankfully he was given the all clear and he then went back to the chalet with Daddy to sleep it off whilst I joined the others for dinner at the Cliffhanger. Lots of food and drink was consumed before heading back to the clubhouse for a boogie. I dont think Daisy could have been more excited than when she was dancing with all her family including her aunts and uncles. After being chucked off the stage and dance floor because it was closing time we headed back to Aunty Debby's chalet for the after party where we decided to let off one of the laterns I had brought down, unfortunately we did not do a complete safetly check and as we were all admiring the latern as it went up in the air, it then decided to change course and go straight into a tree, there was lots of 'oh sh?ts' as we were worried the tree was going to catch a light but Charlie came to the resuce and climbed the tree to put the lantern out.

After nearly setting the tree on fire I retired to our chalet to find Sammy boy being very sick (and he hadnt even been drinking, not like the other 'Forbes' boys!). So major clear up operation and lots of cuddles before getting some sleep.
