Walking with the Ireland's

We found ourselves in Cuckfield as Andy had chosen a 5 mile walk which we think ended up being about 6.5miles after not quite reading the directions correctly. It was a cold and damp day but we still had fun exploring the Cuckfield countryside stopping for a picnic and then back to Cala & Andy's for tea and cake whilst watching Matilda.

England gets covered in snow, but not on our road

With not a snowflake to be seen anywhere in our road we drove 10 minute's up the road and we found what we were looking for... snow! We were wrapped up in all our snow finery's and headed to Stamner Park with our sledges to meet Aunty Jo and Uncle Murphy.

We were the first in the park and had fresh tracks, well it was only 9am! We had great fun sledging, although a little frightening for mummy at times as we did pick up some speed. Daddy did some snowboarding and Sammy boy had his first go on a snowboard and did not disappoint his Daddy, turns out he is a natural. We also played with Uncle Murphy's snow gun before heading over to their house for bacon sarnies and a nice cup of tea! We had to park in the next road though as they had so much snow our car would not have got through!

After a lovely snack at theirs we headed home where us girls chilled out and did some baking and the boys headed out for more snow. I should have been so on trend and posted some pics of our baking but unfortunately it had been eaten before I thought of it, opps!
