Two firsts for our little lady

Today Daisy went to her first roller disco, it was her friends Laura's birthday party and then she had her first Brownie Sleep over and had a fantastic time at both.

Wow how good is this weather, we are having a hot summer in late September. Sammy boy even went in for a swim in his boxers.

Could it get any worse?

OK life is a roller coaster at the moment; organising parties, entertaining at home whilst building work going on, endless housework, endless ironing, completely dis-organised, work back log, Daddy ill off work and to top it off we over slept and Sylvia had to be at the coach station at 8.10am for her coach which departed at 8.20am and I woke up at 8am - ohhhhh joy.

• Woke up, washed (well not much) and dressed


• Lady and case driven into central Brighton for coach


• Made 7 & 5 year old breakfast


• Made packed lunch's for 7 & 5 year old


• Ironed 7 yr old's uniform


• Got 7 year old to school in Hove before 8.40am


• Got two 5 year olds dressed in fancy dress to represent another country


• One 5 year old that isnt mine not liking any of the fancy dress, yikes


• Lost 5 year old that isnt mine shoe in dressing up box


• Got two 5 yr olds (one as a cowboy from America and one as a pirate from Cornwall) & another 7 yr old to school in Portslade before 8.45am

All done in 45 minutes!! Stressed - YES!! Lesson learnt - be more organised, oh and don't oversleep!!

De-stressed for 30 minutes by eating nutella on toast with a cup of tea whilst watching 'Housewife's of New York City'... which left me wanting to be rich and glamorous!!

Jo's 50th Birthday party

Everyone was up nice bright and early today in the Parker household, the boys went over to Nanny & Grandad's, Daisy went dancing with Nanny Maureen whilst I did some Tea Cup & Tiaras deliveries, then a meeting re vintage for a wedding before heading off to tonights venue to meet Murphy and Cala to decorate the room Vegas style!

What a great night - all the family, Jo's friends, great entertainment, canapes, dancing and my sister looking fabulous at 50! Here's hoping I look that good.
